Eva Panetti is Research Fellow at the Department of Management and Quantitative studies of Parthenope University of Naples and Ph.D. candidate in Management at the Department of Economics, Management and Institutions of the Federico II University of Naples. Eva Panetti is currently a visiting Ph.D. student at the MIT - IPC, where she conducts her research on the growth dynamics of local innovation systems. In particular, she investigates the dimensions that explain the evolution of innovation ecosystems, with specific regard to innovation system performance and the level of social embeddedness.
She is also member of the Task Force on Industry and Innovation and Manager of Short-Term Scientific Missions for the EU platform of women scientists - genderSTE COST. She has been researcher at the Interdepartmental Research Centre L.U.P.T. “Raffaele d’Ambrosio” of Federico II University and member of the Italian CERITT (Research Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer) and of the Management Committee of OPI (Permanent Observatory on Innovation). She took part in a number of research projects in the field of innovation management financed by Italian Ministry of University and by Campania Region. Her main research interests focus on local innovation systems, innovation management, transition studies and port management.
